Bharti Airtel Accumulates Premium Spectrum Bands in Haryana With the rollout of this new 4G network on the 2,100MHz spectrum band, Airtel now has a robust 4G presence in the state with 2300 Mhz (TD LTE), 2100 Mhz (LTE 2100), and 1800 Mhz (FD LTE) to offer world-class 4G services to customers. Given the increase in its capacity with 2100 Mhz spectrum, Airtel smartphone customers will enjoy improved 4G throughputs, which shall result in enhanced customer experience. He further added, “LTE 2100 shall also add stimulus to increasing VoLTE traffic volume with better VoLTE propagation and add to our efforts to provide a superior network experience. We will continue to invest aggressively in the deployment of latest network technologies to delight our customers.” Airtel Closing in ARPU Gap With Reliance Jio Airtel in its release also noted that currently it serves over 3.8 million customers in Haryana and has deployed advanced network technologies and tools such as 4G Advanced and Carrier Aggregation to step up high-speed network capacity and coverage. The telco also said that it is committed to further invest in its network under its Project Leap program. In the last few months, Airtel has upped its efforts to close the gap with the rival telecom operators. The Sunil Bharti Mittal led telco has already announced that it will be investing in network capacity and increasing coverage to compete with the telecom operators. The telecom operator has also been able to come very close to the ARPU levels of Reliance Jio, and the estimations have suggested that the ARPU of Bharti Airtel could be Rs 125 which is in proximity to Rs 126.6, the current ARPU level of the Mukesh Ambani led telecom operator, Reliance Jio.
